RFIP
..they need to get on their hands and knees and pray they didn't screw up the Goff pick because we all know no matter what other moves they make it all comes down to #16..
You're preaching to the choir RFIP.......I was as big of an Advocate for #16 as everyone of those paid professional Rams scouts that were behind trading up for him.
I blamed 50% of his failed 2016 season on the coaching staff and lack of talent on the offense but #16 easily earned the other 50% for his failed rookie season.
I don't expect him to come out blazing the first half of the 2017 season, but if he doesn't mix in some quality starts with the bad ones during the first 9 or 10 games this year, there will be many more arms up in the air (including mine) and the doubters will triple in numbers chanting Leaf and Couch.
I still have faith that my eyes seen something special in his abilities before he was drafted but foresight good or bad about him is water under the bridge now.
If he fails over the entire duration of 2017, the Rams are obviously back at square 1 and likely going to need to sacrifice more big time draft capitol on another rookie QB via the draft or a veteran if there is one available in 2018.
(which you already know and this is why we are all hoping he's the one)No doubt.."It all comes down to number #"
