Barnwell is just doing what lazy ESPN writers do. The guaranteed money in this deal for the length of the contract is actually small, but Woods' upside, especially coming back to LA and still only being 24, is high. And that's given his current floor is already decent, all things considered. Woods was one of the few WR undervalued assets out there and an excellent fit for his offense, so McVay went and got him. Barnwell still thinks like Fisher. Thankfully, McVay does not.
