I think he was just THAT raw. (It's not coaching...Boudreau has a long, long well-earned rep for building good lines.)
And GR also kind of looks like one of those guys who is slow to mature.
IMO all his problems come down to panic under fire, and panic under fire in his case comes down to not being confident. Not being confident came down to be THAT raw.
If I am right he CAN settle down.
And btw Kromer has a rep for emphasizing guard play and taking the burden off of the OTs. For example with the Saints both Evans and Nicks were college OTs who became top guards. So if Kromer sees GR at ROT and Hav at guard, I have to say there could be something to it.
That's not a promise, just thinking out loud.
