Did you ever think that McVay actually feels that Goff is just fine? No way they take Watson and are able to spin it and derail the confidence of Goff. I see a later pick more like Chip Kelly for example, however, IMHO the best Quarterback in this draft is DeShone Kizer.

McVay seems to be a smart guy, so I don't think he feels that Goff is just fine. That's not to say he doesn't like Goff. It's to say he can see what everybody else should be able to see, and that's Goff has a long ways to go and is no sure thing.

I do agree with you on Kizer. And I don't think Watson is somebody they would or should take early.
