I'm to to the point Rick, where I am simply a RAM fan....come what may... and by that I do NOT mean "defeatist". Hell, you know me... that will never happen.

I have no problems with a "caution first" approach to these coaches. It makes perfect sense and it doesn't matter what optimists say right now, and these coaches still have to go out there and get er done. The pudding, they say, is the object which must be submitted to evidentiary considerations before any final determination is made (that's straight from "more verbose and syntactally awkward variations of common sayings." Also known as "the military version." )

I personally pick up on vibes like this...Olson apparently had an offensive coordinator offer, and turned it down to be a qb coach. I think Olson partly did that to be in LA. But I don;'t think you do something like that unless you have a strong belief in the coach. So that';s a good sign at this early stage, anyway.
