The guys on this board are exceedingly wise, and to fault we see the need to improve our center...
Maybe it's just me or I'm not that wise, but I see the biggest need at LT and Guard. Apart from Saffold, the guard play was horrible.
If somebody can tell me the percentage of snaps the Rams offense faced a 0-tech then I might take a different viewpoint.
If the center doesn't have somebody over his nose he's doing something that most can't identify.
Unlike you however dz I see guard and RT as bigger needs.
So you for sure give GRob another chance?
I thought Hav struggled this year but he was pretty good in 2015. Presumably, he was dealing with some injuries. I definitely give him this year to see what he is.
As we've discussed before I want to see GRob under different coaching. I lost faith in Bouds long ago.
I never liked Havs coming out, I wish we still had access to that information, I gave him a really low grade..
I thought he had slow feet and was stiff and would have trouble with speed rushers.
We didn't see a lot of it in 15 but I thought it showed this past season against better rushers.
The injury thing? Welp he was on the field so you gotta go.
I'm not high on him at all.
If GRob falters I can move Saffold to LT where he's better anyway IF he can stay on the field.
Today your RT is just as valuable as your LT. Teams come at you from all sides now.
Best,
