I would personally like to know who the breakout signal-calling star of the 2019 NFL season is going to be.

Boils down to something pretty simple.

If Goff puts the time into his craft (which, based on reports, he sure seems to be this off-season), gets the kind of cutting-edge sideline / positional meetings / film room tutoring I believe he needs (which it seems he will from McVay, LaFleur and Olson) and some real NFL-quality supporting players around him (it remains to be seen how that works out) ... there will be no excuses.

If he gets all those things and still struggles mightily ... well ... I'll be the first to say, 'ouch. Goff wasn't what I was hoping or expecting ... and that there trade the ol' Rammies made for him didn't work out so well.'

Seems pretty simple. And requires absolutely no abilities for predicting the future.
