The draft capitol given up was insane.

Hardly insane when Case Keenum and Sean Mannion are your top quarterbacks and you had a good grasp of what the college quarterback talent level was coming out in the 2017 draft. It was easily worth the draft capitol should my premature opinion of his value end up more accurate than yours.

None of us will know for sure who had the more accurate observation of his talent value/draft capitol worth, until we see his performance in 2017 and to an extent some of 2018, since he's starting over again with a new system.

We can all play the "if he turns out to be a HOFer.." stuff but the facts are this, he was NEVER a generational talent and generational talents are the only ones you make that type of trade for PERIOD.

Because you type PERIOD at the end of your opinion doesn't give your observation or any of the draft guru's you agreed with anymore validity about projecting his talent value more than someone like myself who believed he was worth every draft pick given to the Titans.

I still believe he's going to be a rare special talent even though it may not show on game days until the latter part of the 2017 season and possibly the beginning 2018. These type of projections are mostly hinged on speculation and some of them fueled by the the crappy 7 games he displayed in 2016.

My personal view doesn't guarantee I'm going to be correct and until more of his career unfolds, you and anyone else who didn't think he was anything special coming out of college have no magic Crystal Ball that makes your perception a "factual" reality. Until there is more games played under his belt, his ceiling remains unknown by even the most qualified professional NFL scouts.

What the Rams did with that trade was panic.

Not really, it was some Rams fans that panicked before the cake even comes out of the oven. No panic from this fan unless we see the same crappy results for the entire duration of the 2017 season.. You can save this post in case I'm way off base and feel free to smash it like cake in my face at the end of next season.
