I have no interest in him retiring

February 06, 2017 03:20PM
but I do want the interest in him to go away.

I'm tired of hearing about him. I'm with Dexter McCleon on my opinion of Brady, lol... mostly kidding. He fell into a good situation and made the most of it. Unlike many, I don't discount the cheating. Its a game of inches, so even a little advantage can be the difference in winning that one extra game that gets them to the playoffs. Those extra few completions a game. The one less turnover. That extra first down. It all matters significantly in a game of inches.

They were able to cheat themselves into a good spot and after 3 or 4 years they all stayed in the same system. Now Brady is in a system so comfortable to him that it has to give him a significant advantage. Plus the OC knows him well. And they have a coach that will do anything to win.

Brady was dejected in the SB. It appeared to me that he had all but accepted the loss. But the gift Shanahan gave him made his heart grow like the Grinch's. In fact even my wife started rooting for the Pats and she hates them. Momentum is a real thing IMO. They didn't let the game get away, they gave it away with a pretty bow on top of it.

So don't get me wrong, I think Brady is a great QB. I am just tired of hearing about him because I view his accomplishments from a different perspective than most.
