Zay played well in practice and in the game by most accounts.
Saw neither, but he was highlighted in most every note I read.

Cooper certainly got raves. The notes that really caught my eye were the ones that Kris Carter thought were the vital parts of a WR
off the line.......getting the suddenness off the line in press cover
coming back to the passer..........an area of great concern when thinking of us
creating separation.......
top of the stem

again, never heard of this kid before y'all chatted him up here, but he did the little things, which are big things right

josh Reynolds. impressed me with his bowl game. big time. but as you or paul pointed out the kid vanished for the longest periods of time. makes me nervous. he did well this week, too. but the notes on him vary. concern about handsize and fight for the ball stuff.

another name that wasn't OJ Howard's......
Haason Reddick don't think I saw but a few minutes of his team's play, but had a wow factor. enjoyed listening to one podcast that noted just how fine the kid moved, and reacted. always like to hear when someone bursts at the right time.

finally, don't know if he can play but did like the radio interview of Jordan Morgan. What a longshot this kid is, but you know what? He speaks well, articulate in age of football kid's having some questionable ability to verbalize in a cogent manner.

Morgan mentioned the USC defensive lineman giving him the toughest run for his money at the senior bowl competition. okay.....that's make a SC fan happy.

Zay Jones looked great every single time I saw him this week...which really surprised and scared me. So I have to determine who the "real" Zay for my evaluation. I lean heavy on in-season but I collect all info possible.

Reynolds is a guy I'm pretty high on. Not a dominant "#1 WR" type but looks like a future key contributor to me. A guy that will get open on important downs, take advantage of + matchups, etc...

OJ Howard has been my guy for years. Tough to criticize Alabama but I have always been shocked at his lack of use.

I love Temple guys (under Matt Rhule). Reddick however was punished because of his talent and the lack of recruiting incentives created by playing in a dump like North Philly (Temple's campus location). He was forced to be a very good jack of all trades. He will thrive when his LB instincts catch up to his talent level and have almost no doubt they will.

I brought up Jordan Morgan a week or so ago. [ramsrule.com]
