Rams pretty much insulted Shanahan when they interviewed McVay first.
And it is hard to tell if this is true or not as it is just some guy's tweet and he may be paraphrasing, but that would be the second hint that Shanahan could be a difficult guy to share a building with. The other (for me) was the report that he came across arrogant in interviews.
There were also many reports that he has a very thin skin. Had to surround himself with yes men in Washington. Being insulted by not being interviewed first supports the thin skin theory.
I wanted him but now have my doubts.
I have to say I am a bit taken aback that a perspicacious poster like yourself would lend any credence to this gossip rag reporting.
I would anyone outside know how to discern what/who "yes men" are?
If they are your position coaches isn't their a thin line between being subordinate and insubordinate??
