Elway had a lot of executive experience running business and football operations outside of the NFL before taking over the Broncos operations. And even then, he was smart enough to realize he needed a GM to help him in Denver until he learned the ropes.
None of this applies to Lynch. But in reality, he won't even be Millen since Millen actually had control. Lynch won't.
