Or is it under the impression there weren't more efficient means to get a QB that they can win with?
Either way, empirically incorrect.
It was gross mismanagement. That is beyond obvious now. But we can still hope Goff learns how to play the position in the NFL and becomes at least a good NFL QB before they're forced to replace him.
