You can win with a top 5-10 offense or a top 5-10 defense. But I think your "other" unit can't be 32nd... Or 29th. Etc.
If the Rams were, say, 21st in offense and 8th in defense I think (combined with good ST) it would be pretty likely they'd be a playoff team. Or vice versa. But you can't be 10th and 32nd, etc.
