Playoff teams today were 2nd 4th 7th 8th on offense. Each of the team did it slightly different. All had good QBs, but some had a bunch of surrounding talent. Others not as much.
1) Atlanta - 2nd (Stacked with talent and best weapon in the NFL at WR.)
2) Patriots - 4th (This is unheard of with the lack of talent the Patriots have and actually going 3-0 without Brady at the start and winning games without Gronkowski as well. Shows that coaching and preparation matter.)
3) Steelers - 7th (I felt this offense as good as it is actually underachieved, but Bell missed games at Big Ben is always dinged up.)
4) Packers - 8th (The offensive line was in a shambles and the main weapon coming back from a major knee injury, but Rodgers somehows makes something out of nothing.)
The Redskins were #3 with really very limited talent like the Patriots on offense.
Atlanta is stacked with Talent all over on offense. Steelers have big time play makers. Packers do it by Rodgers hero approach. But you see 2 teams the Patriots and the Redskins with lesser talent still have a great offense.
We now have the Redskins coach. And Cousins is somebody that is overachieving similar to when Martz got all of those qbs out of scrap pile to play at a high level (Green, Warner, and Bulger) when we went to playoffs in 5 out of 6 seasons.
Looks good for the Rams.
You will see a significant difference next year I predict. 260 yard offense when the #31 team was over 300. That will not happen.
