The reason I believe this is because they came to LA after Hardnocks with the coach that has been selling unsuccessfully that they would be a playoff team and laid an egg. Fisher's failures on the offensive side were exposed. Fisher throwing players off the bus and under the bus including coaches had to frustrate them all.
Now they have a healer come in. Fresh, inspiring and with an energy that is infectious and if he is as smart as he seems and continues to hone his trade and grow he will have their focus and effort for pride sake and for hunger for success. Lets not forget Chargers are hands down going to be favored to excel in 2017 but I doubt McVay will let them ignore that either. Goff appears to be pretty competitive and I think hungry to improve and grow. I bet they build a real nice relationship. I think we will have our first non losing season in a great while and once I get to see more I hope to upgrade to a winning season come summer's end
