And what difference does it make if Austin's combined yards are over 1000 and Michael Crabtree making $11 million while racking up a combined (slightly less than Austin) 1000 all purpose yards? Was Crabtree grossly overpaid too?

Desaun Jackson's team took a cap hit of $9.3 mill in 2016 for fewer total yards than Austin had. How much should the Rams offer for Jackson?


It seems like the trend is to give generous contracts for players that put up 1000 yards + a season.
