But you made a post about him doing something that a strong established presence like Gruden, Belichick, Andy Reid or Mike McCarthy would do in their first meeting. With their experience and track record, those guys have something that McVay doesn’t have…yet.
The way McVay will have to command respect will have to be different and in alignment with his strengths.
I don’t view your post as acknowledging that reality…so I can’t say if you thought of that or not.
