first clue: it says McVay is 29 years old. (He's 30 now, will be 31 by the start of the 2017 season).

second clue: McVay called the offensive plays in 2016. "This past season, though Gruden, Callahan and QB Coach Matt Cavanugh had input, play calling was exclusively the domain of McVay." My note: "This past season" is a reference to the 2016 season. [www.csnmidatlantic.com]
