I'm not. I'm a big Tavon guy. That goes back to before they drafted him.
BUT I also think he has built-in limitations as a pure receiver, which means he's not a pure receiver...which ALSO means it has nothing to do with the coordinator.
AT THE SAME TIME, I don't think he is, or should be thought of, as a pure receiver. So I am fine with the "not a pure receiver" thing. He's something else, a hybrid, combined yardage guy as they showed in 2015. So I actually think it's a mistake TO think of him as a pure receiver.
In fact I was also saying THAT (he's not a pure receiver) before they drafted him too.

No you're not one of them...
I will say they never did draft him as a "pure WR" he is a multi threat weapon.
He had a down year, but he has been above average in drop rate through out his career. He can run routes and can catch...no he's not going to win most 50/50 balls, but he can catch all throws. I think McVay will figure out how to get the most out of him that is for sure. He could fill both the Crowder and Thompson role.
