Goff may not be smart...just football smart!

and THAT'S his proffesion!
Many folks are very smart in in area and severely lacking common sense in other areas.
It's all about maximizing people's gifts and differences so that they can maximize their fullest potential.

Coaches are supposed to be specialists at doin that for football players....not necessarily forcing circles in to square peg schemes.
But that's not what we see many times throughout the NFL. I only hope these new coaches can do that on offense.
Cuz I think WPhillips does that on Defense and Fassel does that on STs. It's the offense that's hardest to handle as it involves handling a football...where the defense and STs do NOT....they just run, block, hit/tackle. imo

And yes...I'm horribly biased towards offense with it's "skill positions" - with all it's difficulty
(sans the OL - cattle, lol). Of course, I'm joking....but only just barely!

Flipper just hates us arrogant QBs...with good reason! lol
