He has the quickness and leverage and strength to play the role.
It's either that or sit him waiting for 3rd down sets.
Or as suggested in this subthread, they could move him inside the tackle in a different alignment not normally associated with 3/4 DEs. The effect would still be a 3-man DL, just configured differently.
To me the question is, could either Quinn or Sims or both play OLB in a stand-up pass rusher role.
