Demoff says that they are going to cast a wide net, and they certainly seem to be doing that. That says to me that they do NOT have a guy targeted.
If they really were frothing at the mouth over Shanahan, he would have been their first interview.
Their last hire, they had Fisher targeted, went after him right away, and wouldn't give up until they got him.
I have no idea who they'll wind up with. But clearly there is no front runner, and no favorite.
The rest of this stuff about who the Rams want (and probably who anybody else wants) is all the sports media speculating.
No GM or owner is going to tip his hand until he has to. .
Exactly...same can be said about coaches Coming out and tipping their hat towards a certain team, like the report about McDaniels wanting to be Niners coach in a post the other day
