I obviously have no idea who is on the Rams A list, or if they even have an A list, but if Shanahan was at the top of their list and they wanted to ensure they got to him this weekend they should have done a better job with their travel plans.
Maybe they have inside info and they believe that they have the inside track on Shanahan, maybe they know Elway is going with Joseph (he did say that Joseph was his backup plan if they didn't get Kubiak last time).
All I know for sure is that if I wanted to make sure I got to Shanahan during his bye weekend, I would have done a better job than the Rams did.
As you already now max, It's natural for those of us that want or believe Shanahan is on the A_List to be frustrated over the weather mishap.
I for one believe KS is one of their Top 2 preferences (pre-interview process) and even with the "Denver can have him if they want him" rumors, this never really had me concerned even though I've posted some jokes/humor about the blizzard postponing the scheduled interview.
The coincidence that KD's dad is Kyle's agent like the case was with Fisher, tells me that Kevin Demoff has been advised my his father that KS will not except any job offer until he meets with the Rams and or any other franchises that are in play wanting to interview him as their next HC..
I believe that KS will likely accept either the Denver or Los Angeles HC opening when this is all said and done (assuming those franchises want him).
KS has a ton on his plate right now preparing for Seattle and from everything mentioned about him, he's a detailed, OCD, meticulous type of man that will turn over every stone before accepting any HC offers.
He's had his interview with Denver which on paper seems like it might be his preferred first choice should Elway offer him the job but until he gets all his ducks in row and hears the pitch from Demoff & company and any other franchises that peak his interest, he's not in position to make a clear sound judgment of what will be best case scenario for his career.
I believe KS is content with the speed of the interview process while he's juggling his schedule around the priority of his Falcons responsibilities.
I doubt he's going to make any subconscious commitments at this stage of the interviewing process until he's able assimilate all of the Intel and nuances of all the teams that he's going to interview with.
I think most of us that think rationally would have to believe the missed interview opportunity in Atlanta has absolutely nothing to do with the outcome of Kyle Shanahan's utlitmate decision or where he's going to be employed in 2017.
