At a sports analytics conference, held in Boston over the weekend, Kroenke was giving audience members his own how-to guide when it comes to running a football club.
He said it’s all about employing “rational thought” in sports club ownership “so that they become real industries and real businesses.”
Rational thought? Has he seen the details of the new Premier League TV deal?
He goes on: “I have to have some reality involved. If you want to win championships then you would never get involved.”
Judging by his other teams I'd say he was true to his philosophy.
