and thank God it is not, I would have to spend an awful lot of time in the film room trying to determine just who needed replaced, who needed a new position, who will work with what I wanted to do. The Rams' offense looked awful this year and by all appearances it would seem that the offensive roster needs a complete overhaul. But I'm not so sure. I have a tendency to believe that there are some who may have appeared hopeless causes who may have been the victims of some very bad design and coaching. I'll let my chosen position coaches guide those assessments. I'll go for "safe" picks in the draft. Players who may not project that "wow" factor, but are good technicians and reasonable athletes who will have the opportunity to play immediately. The Rams can't afford to miss on their picks. I'll do my best to tap free agency for leader type players, which the Rams are sorely lacking. And then I'll have a big glass of scotch and hope I don't get run out of town.
