generally a top-5 pick doesn't have "offset language", therefore if the Rams cut or trade him, the Rams still have to pay him ... and then GR will also get all of the money his new team pays him.
me thinks the Rams have to pay him $6.7 mill no matter what. May as well keep him for year 4. The Rams do have to decide if they will pick up the option on his 5th year... ( I hope the Rams don't)
