what up with EJ?

he left a lot of room between he and his man
sometimes that kind of worked; too often that left room for first downs, and EJ coming up to make a tackle

just wonder

was it the player or a scheme in some way?
to me, it looked like the player, but if that happened that often; wouldn't Brandon fisher have pulled him?
