Rams have to:
1. Get a superior coach that can turn things around.
2. Get a superior GM to back him up.
3. Massively improve the roster (with no #1).
4. Wait for Goff to become an effective NFL QB.
5. Acquire a coaching staff that can make optimal use the other young talent that remains.
6. Wait for that coaching to take effect, including the delays associated with changing O and D systems.
7. See if Gurley can improve (not impressed this year TBH).
8. Hold on to Donald without breaking the bank Cap-wise.
Sheesh, hard to imagine major improvement in a hurry (ie, 2017).
3 years maybe?
After 12 years of mediocre or worse results, and we must be patient for another several, minimum? Ouch.
Not even proven we can pull of #1 & 2 at this point, and without hits there, even that is optimistic.
Getting tired of starting over, how many times has it been now?
Not feeling it myself. Very pessimistic over the short-med term.
And long term looks SOOOOO far away.
