Boudreau's "seal of approval" amounts to little more than....I worked him out, he appears to have the physical tools to be a good NFL OT to me. And, of course, who disputes that he has the physical tools that are going to shine in a workout? Nobody.
You can spread blame any way that's convenient to you, but the bottom line is the OL coach is NOT responsible for front office decisions. OL coaches are hired as coaches, not scouts. They can be resources for the people making the personnel decisions, but that's all they are. They are responsible for coaching the players they're given, not getting the players they coach. Not really complicated.
