I will say that the Rams did make an attempt to hire outside the team before Cignetti but they seemed to have trouble attracting anyone prominent

But my gut tells me Fisher and his overconfidence ultimately sunk him

He went and got Greg Williams when he was available ... he never went and got a top notch ocoordinator. When he was hired one of the first things he did that i was against was hiring Shotty after his work with the Jets. Why? You say you took the job because of Bradford but you give him Shotty? And im not saying Shotty was awful.... i am saying bring in the best!!! Not a guy

Fisher like you said didnt think it was important enough and he paid for it
