I like the thought of Shanahan stating he would also bring in his dad at whatever capacity.
Because the problem with OC's is they have never been a head coach.
But if he brings in his dad to assist, would take away that concern.
Plus, I think we need to focus on offense for the first time in 8 years.
I think McDaniels has a bit of the Mike Martz issue... it's easy to come up with great plays when your QB is Tom Brady AND has all day to throw. Put him on the Rams and it won't look so good. (In fact we tried it).
