Rams defense amazingly finished top 10 in some areas

The Rams defense was nothing special late in the year. Probably starting with the final 5 minutes of the Dolphins game. But somehow, some way, with that offense, they still finished in the top 10 in some areas:

Yards/game: 9th
Yards/play: 9th
Yards/rush: 10th
Yards/pass: 9th
Passing yards/game: 10th
3rd downs: 5th

Where they really dropped off this year:
Red zone scoring: 31st (2nd in 2015)
Sack %: 25th
Points/game: 17th
