I agree with you and Stlramz. For "those fans" who can look past the horrible offensive line, you can see he is not even the same back as he was last year coming off of that horrible injury. He seems to lack some of his power and burst from last year, and his lack of vision for finding the cut backs is bordering on absurd.
And that's a great and obvious point Stlramz, other backs were getting better YPC behind the same disastrous line.
Gurley has some ownership for the run game woes.
If I put it down to percentages, I'd go something like this....
% of ownership of failure:
O-Line - 75%
Gurley - 25%
Rob Boras - 50%
Boudreau - 50%
Skip Peete RB's coach - 15%
Jeff Fisher - 100%
Brandon Fisher - 25% (yeah, he's a defensive secondary coach, but he's a Fisher)
Total: 340%
So that's 340% of failure right there. Just wait until I figure out the failure percentages for the passing game. They are going to be astronomical. My brain hurts just trying to cipher it...
