that much is for sure and I am more positive on him than others.
The difference is that Austin has had a couple of dozen big plays the past few years and Cunningham has probably less than a handful.
Despite a bad year for Austin, he still has much more value than Cunningham. (But probably not to the salary level Austin is currently at - not that much value)
I still give Austin a little bit of a pass because of the offensive coaching being so bad. If he doesn't do better next year, you can't continue to pay him that kind of salary either.
And your point on Quinn is right on. With his health issues, he is no longer worth that kind of money. (on surface) This is where the medical people earn their salary. Somebody on the Rams medical staff needs to make that call on whether Quinn can ever be the same player he was a couple of years ago. That is an important decision. You hate to dump him and he ends up in the pro bowl the following year.
