NFL Needs to fix this ASAP -tax adjusted salary cap.

December 28, 2016 08:29AM
This came up in a thread below and just wanted to shed some more light on this terrible disadvantage the Rams now have being in California when it comes to the salary cap.

Basically teams in Florida have about $20 million more to spend on players then teams in California due to state income taxes. That's ridiculous!!! That is a franchise QB money that the Rams and other California teams are denied each year under the current salary cap rules which is set at roughly $140,000,000 per team....no matter what state.

Hopefully this will get fixed ASAP.

More often it's "hotel tax" or "sin tax"
