Goff's the least of our problems. imo

December 24, 2016 03:27AM
Goff has had so many drops on him and really only 2 of his 5INTs were bad throws...others were tipped/INTd.

As far as how Goff is actually doing in his starts? Many draft folks compared him to MattRyan...and it appears to be somewhat accurate.

link

Here are each quarterback’s stats through their first three career starts:

2016: Jared Goff: 53.7%, 509 yards, 4 TD, 3 INT, 70.0 passer rating
2008: Matt Ryan: 53.1%, 511 yards, 2 TD, 2INT, 77.0 passer rating

==================================
Then, of course, the line from yer post that puts it all into perspective....
"There are reasonable excuses to make on his behalf, such as the Rams crappy O-LINE,
butterfingers WR's, lack of a running game or the Rob Boras OFFENSE etc..."

...it's a team game and Goff is doin his part....while many on the offense don't seem to be doin there's. imo
I wonder what Goff's passing % rate would be if drops were added as catches?

  Has he earned the starting job next year?

  Are you really 'wondering' about that?

JamesJM203December 23, 2016 03:38PM

  It's his job for next year and it should be.
