To put that kind of pressure on Goff playing like Joe Montana in the next too games is a bit much to ask.
First of all the Rams offensive line is crappola. It would not shock me to see the 49ers beat the Rams again on Saturday.
The Rams receivers are crap as well.
Tom Brady would have a devil of a time winning a game as QB of this team.
Grits
Ummm.. I never said that was the case on any level.
It was pretty apparent I thought.
Goff has had enough time to learn the speed of the NFL and should be able to flourish in these last two games compared to the prior 5 games.
He is finishing the 2016 campaign against some bottom tier teams imo.
I never said these last 2 games make or break his career. If you read the entire post.... I'm on record saying it wouldn't be until week 10 of the 2017 season that I would have a reason to get my eyes ( re-evaluate my premonition of his talent) checked by a specialist.
And yes these next 2 games should be the time for him to step up when you take into consideration the teams (talent level) and records into account.
JG needs to step up and be better in spite of the OLIne and surrounding talent.. just my opinion grits....
Not an ultimatum or prediction on his long term future. (I'm way out on limb for that already) If you have read my history on JG I doubt you would've misjudged my interpretation of the topic.
