Everybody throws the football x number of times in the pro game. The issue was / is that Cignetti and Boras and Fisher and Weinke were always outmatched in terms of the implementation of a passing game and its import in today's NFL.
Watching the Rams play offense under Fisher was like watching Abe Vigoda make-out with Phyllis Diller.
No old friend that's not my view. I get your opinion and I disagree with it.
I think that over 4 years, with Bradford injuries and then Foles melting down, they had a starting caliber qb in 27 of 64 games. (I give Foles 4 non-meltdown games).
I also see that they had a relatively healthy and/or relatively experienced OL in 20 of those games.
That's a bad combination. It's difficult to name any teams that won with that combination.
I have been through dozens and dozens and dozens of discussions of this, and have come out unscathed sticking to my guns. That IS how I see 2012-2015, and that's after having heard every counter-argument there is.
So we are deep into agree to disagree territory here. That is territory with lots of nice trees and gardens and good views. So let's just enjoy them.
Fair enough?
