These big time guys are smart and they give responses that puts them in the best negotiating position. They are not about to tell the world what they are really thinking; that would be just plain stupid.

Is it lying to tell a car dealer you'll only pay $28,000 for their car.....period; but then you agree to $28,500? Of course not. It's called negotiating.
