There is no way that anyone who is interested in the LA HC job is going to say anything publicly about having interest. Their negotiating power just went down several notches if they did.
The good answer is always: " I haven't considered it". "I love it here". "I love what I do". "Why would I leave this wonderful situation?" "I'm here as long as they want me".
It is NEVER: "If they call me I'll answer the phone". "Yes I'd be interested". "Sure; who wouldn't want that job". "I'm open". "I'd enjoy a chance to get a better, higher paying job".
Pay no attention to this media stuff and the things that these guys say right now. Whatever happens to actually get a coach will occur mostly behind the scenes and not emerge until the Rams are pretty certain they've got their man.
