... what this current group could do under the tutelage of an offensive staff that understands how the modern game of professional football is played.
Yeah, there sure seem to be a lot of lunkheads on this team ... guys who just don't seem to have high football IQs ... but I would nevertheless give them a chance with a staff who isn't convinced that a team can still win big with an offense best suited to playing "ball control" football.
I would especially like to see what Goff can do with real NFL level quarterback coaching.

Like I said a few weeks ago ... my issue with Goff was never the draft picks the Rams gave up to get him. My problem, and I said it then, was that he would be cutting his NFL teeth with an offensive staff that is probably better suited at some 1-AA college.
Turning Goff over to Fisher and Boras and Weinke, to me, was like turning a Lamborghini Aventador over to Sheriff Bufford T. Justice.
