I'm far from an expert on O-line play, but it strikes me that the center and the two guards are just moving no one this season and getting beaten constantly. The tackle play is hardly great but the interior of the line looks simply awful.
I've read that the Rams moved from a power blocking approach to a zone blocking system this year? Which would certainly go some way to explaining why a team that could at least run block to an extent last season can't at all campaign. Anyone confirm that's true?
if so, when they drafted big bodies like Havenstein and Brown to be 'road graders' - that's pretty confusing.
