what it is about this kid that led to this transformation? What is it about Pryor? How does he go from practice squad quarterback to burgeoning star wide receiver? What is it about who influenced him during that transition? Who gets the kudos for coaching him up?.
$$$$$$$ Money is what motivated him.
Pryor is the last player that Al Davis drafted before he died.
Pryor wasn't kicked off of the Ohio State team ... but he was most of the reason that Ohio State fired their head coach. Pryor was suspended for 5 games in his Sr year with Ohio State,
instead serving the suspension, Pryor gave up on playing out his Sr season and declared for the supplemental draft.
Pryor's was basically an Eric Crouch ... but with more talent.... he thought he was destined to be a NFL QB but wasn't willing to put in the book work and learn plays, protections, etc
He got to play QB for part of a season in Oakland only because the Raiders were between a Rock and a hard place ... their other QBs got injured. He was eventually let go by the Raiders because Pryor refused to learn and play the WR position.
He thought he had the ability to play starting QB for any team in the NFL. He told teams that he was willing to play WR just to get his foot in the door, when in reality all he wanted to do was to play QB
Al Davis already had experience in turning a great college QB into an above average NFL WR, he did it with Ronald Curry.
It is good to see Pryor's turn around.
I want this guy wearing Horns: Jordan Westercamp
the video doesn't show how good his hands really are. I think he can be the next Danny Amendola.... with Chris Carter's hands... and then some.
