First though it's clear that Kroenke is hard to read because he has on occasion done things differently than what he has in the past.

He values continuity, The Patriot Way, yet despite having a rep for sticking with a HC beyond the 2-3 years fans and many GM's will give he went through Brain Shaw in less than two years, then let an interim handle things then hired an assistant from another club to take over the Nuggets. Then the opposite with the Rams, he holds on to a coach that by most measures should have been fired after last year and certainly should after this year or even right now.

So this is what the issue is with fans IMO. They don't know what to expect and that leads to fear that Fisher will stay among those who are opposed to him and fear of him being fired from those who want him to stay. Kroenke has done both types of things.

He's even fired a guy who won coach of the year the previous year and took the Nuggets to the playoffs several years in a row. So there is a lot of frustration because a sensible case can be made for firing Fisher, and for keeping him. I think fans like things a bit more black and white.

Personally RFL I don't think it would have mattered who was coaching this team in the last 4 years. You don't win much with backup QB's in the NFL.
