It's like when HCs say, "injuries are no excuse"....
but that's absolutely absurd....
IT MATTERS if their star/best players do not play...as it is quite possible that fact
might contribute to a poor outing and a team loss. Sometimes, teams win in spite of that....and every color of gray in between.
This whole "injuries are not an excuse" is just hilarious sports PC gone haywire.
Injuries do MATTER as your team is NOT the same team....
without the best players that define yer team.
Did it matter when we lost 3/4s of our starting DL this year for that (Panther?) game?
Or is that just an excuse.
