Not sure that I'd call the media soft
Vinny has been excoriating Jeff Fisher in word and on radio.
Brutal lashings.
Being one of the main voices covering the Rams, I'd say he's hard to ignore
lot of sports writers cover the area but don't focus on the football team
I thought Vinny was over the top in his dismantling, but give him credit, he wasn't being ambivalent.
As for Eric? Haven't listened to his diatribe, but find this odd
Coaches are notorious for saying they don't listen or watch reports. If Fisher denied access to ED, it would be an admission.
Guess they do, huh? Or is it the publicists, and front office staff that happen to catch the former RB and his rant?
The immediate response I had to the Saints game was that all things had fallen apart. OTOH, the Saints were on a mission to embarrass Greg Williams return to New Orleans. They did a superb job. Add in that the defense just wasn't going to be able to save the day every game. And that might get worse on this road trip.
But it's why I see that it is wise to wait a minute before over-celebrating or over-blowing a game. something I learned from y'all here on the board.
Again, ED sounds like he had the same reaction that Vinny has had after certain losses. Harsh.
