Correlating that to right now and the immediate schedule, I'd say this game in New Orleans is must-win for Fisher. If they lose the game they'll be at 7 losses with the Patriots looming and only four games thereafter. He might survive to the Pats game, but tbh those four games represent a month to get your ducks in a row that Stan is going to need and it's not fair to the coach to search for his replacement while he's still coaching. Some owners might do that, but I do not believe Stan will.
Fisher might just make through game 16, Merlin. Might be north of a 50-50 proposition, in fact.
But I believe two things:
Fisher is a lame duck HC.
And Demoff is well into a list of possible HC candidates. No conversations yet, of course, but I'll bet that it's a detailed list, indeed.
