1. He has proven success in the NFL with a young QB.
2. He has some insight on college players.
3. He might have some new or at least modern ideas about the game.
4. He would want to crush the niners every game and bring niner week back.
5. He succeeded despite having a looney toon owner and gm who thought hiring the superintendent Snyder from One Day at a Time and Chip Kelly were better options.
Not a personal fan of his but he got his teams to play hard and won games.
I am fine, barf, if Fisher stays because I think continuity can be a good thing. Of course that has its limits after 5 years or so.
Not a fan of Gruden either. Lol. But sometimes as a fan you just want a change. And I am one of those fans right now.
As far as I know, coaches salaries don't count against the cap. So get Harbaugh and be done with it. I think most coaches want to be on the NFL simply because it is the pinnacle of the sport. And I think money, a strong defense and a #1 draft pick QB might be pursuasive.
