That they need time to develop. Even the great ones seem to need time to adjust to this league due to the nature of the position. Bringing in another one, sure, but whoever it is will need most of that first year to adjust.
And you know, with Higbee the only thing there not to like was the off field incident, and only time will tell if he's gotten past that party boy type knock on him. Some concern was there with his injuries, too, but on the good side is he hasn't suffered anything major. Outside of those things look at his film with WKU, the dude stands out like crazy as a mismatch, you can really see the talent when you get the ball in his hands.
My hope of course is that he shows he can be a professional and avoid getting in trouble. If that happens I do think he has a really good shot at being a weapon in this league. And it might start here soon down the stretch with Goff in there at QB, because as I mentioned in the prior post Jared has no fear of throwing over the middle, just gonna come down to whether the Rams staff gives him the opportunity by opening things up.
